Catching up!

Well, well, well....It sure has been awhile eh?! Things here are going great! Joe Del and I are doing wonderful. I love him now more than ever. For my birthday (which was last Tuesday, July 12th), he took me to LAS VEGAS!!! We left on Thursday and got back on Monday. It was a wonderful trip. He even won $1000 the last night on the nickel slots! Whooo hooo!!!! We went to lots of casinos, ate some great food, caught a Rascal Flatts concert, traveled to the Hoover Dam, and more. I will post pics soon!

On Sunday, we rented a car (a mustang convertible, by the way) and drove to the Hoover Dam. It was SO HOT but was a fun trip! :)

Back to work blues...

Well, the weekend was just plain wonderful!!!

Friday night, Joe Del and I went to dinner w/ Janis and Roy Carter. It was a ton of fun but let me tell you...if you don't eat all day long and then go to Ernestos, GO EASY on the margaritas. I was feeling good after 2. But, after the food came I got a little bit better. We went to the Dugout and really had a good time. CC never showed up, so that was a blessing for us all! :)

Joe Del and I stayed out at the cabin on Friday night. It was an interesting experience...but really fun. I like it out there in the woods. We got up Sat. and he dropped me off in St Paul. I went to the parade and saw all the little carter kids and then headed to the lake with the boy. Marla ended up going also. It was a good time. Sat. we went on the boat for a little bit then came back and hung out. My boyfriend got drunk off his rear but oh well. I still love him ;) Sunday we went on another boat ride w/ Josh Buckle and Marla....then we came back and hung out some more. Basically, we didnt do a whole lot the entire weekend but it was really nice and relaxing and I am loving my boy more than ever...

Almost the weekend!!!!

Well, I've done a really bad job of posting lately...as if it matters. No one reads this. Sigh.

It's almost memorial day weekend!! Tonight Joe Del and I are going out to eat w/ Janis and Roy and then attending the big party/dance at the Dugout in St Paul. It will be a blast I'm sure! After that, Joe Del is taking me to stay at the cabin they have out on the island...with no electricity or running water! Man I'm a little leary...

Anyway, Morgan Carter won princess of Mission Days again this year, so I'm going to the parade in the morning and then we are headed to the lake! :) I love the lake. I went down there last weekend and spent the entire weekend. My boyfriend took me on a boatride, it was really fun...except for we RAN OUT OF GAS in the middle of the lake. Man, I was TICKED. I mean TICKED. But, he was really patient w/ me even when i was yelling at him. So, its all good. We're still together and happier than ever, in my opinion. In fact, he went to the lake last night and is driving back today just to go out w/ me tonight. He doesnt want me going out in St Paul w/out him and I guess I can't blame him there!

Wednesday already, yeah!!!

Well, I havent posted in awhile! I did end up going down to the lake on Saturday to surprise my boy...He even let me stay, ha ha. Anyway, it was fun...we had a good time just talking and laughing and I really do like him. It was hard to come home on Sunday, but I did. I went to a couple of graduation parties and then Marla and I headed to Bolivar to spend the night with Valerie. That was a bit interesting, but good to see her nontheless. We also visited Debauche! I MISS HER! We went by COBACS on Monday and visited David a little bit and then headed to the carpet barn.

We were SUPPOSED to have a tv shoot there that day but (long story) it didnt happen. So, Marla and I went to eat at CHEDDARS, stopped at Gordmans, and headed home. I was back at the office before 5...and ended up going to see the boy after work. We hung out in Hepler for awhile then went to Walnut. Marla came over, and Jennifer Kieswetter stopped by too. It was fun. I took Joe Del home around 11 and then I went home. HE was supposed to come over last night, but was really tired from working and stuff. So, I get to see him tonight and I'm pumped! We're going to go get something to eat and buy a TV for the camper at the lake.

Rascal Flatts won their THIRD CONSECUTIVE GROUP OF THE YEAR ACM last night. WHOOO HOO! Man, I sure do love those guys!

SATURDAY!

Hello....It's the weekend!! Yeah buddy. Nothing new really. Last night I just hung out at home till my boy got off work. He came over and he let me drive his new truck! It's pretty sweet. Then, we went up to Sundowners for a little bit. He is going to the lake today...and I'm going to bolivar tomorrow and Springfield on Monday so i wont see him till at least Tuesday...unless I surprise him at the lake tonight. We'll see. I miss him a ton when he isnt around.

Gotta go to Justin Anderson's graduation party today...good times.

Back in the saddle...

Well, this has been one heck of a week. I woke up early Tuesday to learn that my long time beau, perhaps my life's true soul mate, had married another woman!!! Yes, that is right. Kenny Chesney married Renee Zellweger. Sigh. Good luck happy couple.

Nothing much to report. Its been work work work this week. We got this new massage chair at work and its awesome...however its made my back so sore I could cuss.

Another MONDAY :(

Hello! Nothing really to report today. Took my mother out to eat for mother's day yesterday at the Cracker Barrel. That was fun! We went shopping a little bit also. After I got home, I headed to St Paul to hang out w/ my favorite kiddos, the Carters. Oh that Katie is something else! I had to run by work on my way home so I also ran over to Hepler to see Joe Del for a little bit, then went home to crash. Thats it!!!

Well hello there! Not a lot new here. I went to Enid, OK for work on Thursday and Friday. Stopped in Fredonia to visit my friend Katie on the way there...also stopped in Wichita and saw my friend Christi. On my way home yesterday, I went by the lake to visit my boyfriend. I ended up drinking a few drinks and decided to just crash there. I stayed w/ him in the camper, along with his dad and Fred Geier, my 7th and 8th grade PE teacher. Talk about a bit weird. Anyway, I really like Joe Del. I love being with him and being around him and am just looking forward to spending more and more time with him. sigh. I am a lush!

This is a photo of Dan Willis, who passed away on Sunday, May 1st. Dan had been a broadcaster at KKOW for over 40 years. I grew up listening to him with my grandma...we always had to listen to him read off who had died and then see if we could get any bargins on the trading post.

For the past 2 years, I've worked with Dan by suppling him with info about Derailed Commodity for Polka Time. He always said I didnt give him enough information. :) This photo was taken during the Pittsburg homeshow in February. Dan sat down with us and visited for an hour or so about life, business and more.

Yo yo yo! It's Thursday, 11:25 am, which means soon I will be headed home to pack up my stuff and then get on the road to Enid, Ok. It wont be the most fun trip ever, however I am looking forward to getting out of the office and hitting the road! Not much new to report. I attended the funeral yesterday of Dan Willis from KKOW. That was sad...I somehow got filmed though and was on the stinking news. Yeehaw.

Marla and I made a ton of cookies last night for her to take to work. Joe Del came over and he and I went out to my moms house so I could pick up her car to take to Enid. It was the first time my mom met him, I think she liked him. I like him. :)

Hey all!! It's Wednesday...after today, this week will be more than halfway over! YIPPIE! Whats on the agenda for today?? Gotta do some ads, go to a funeral, work on a newsletter...thats about it. This week has been fairly calm. :) I'm planning a trip to Enid, OK to one of our stores tomorrow and Friday. It will be nice to get out of the office but I do not look look forward to the Enid trip. :(

I had a great night last night! I went over to Hepler to visit my newest fling, Joe Del. He and I rode the 4wheeler from his parents house down to the house he just bought. Then we went on a mega 4wheeler ride in the country. Super fun! A little cold, but way fun. Then, we went back to his house and had supper with his mom and dad. I think I am totally falling for this guy. It's a little scary but I am definately having fun with it!

The day has only just begun...

Well, It's 8:39 on Tuesday morning and I have a feeling this is going to be a very long day. I can't get motivated to work on anything. It's cold outside too which stinks. I am definately ready for SUMMER. I just read the celebrities column on www.tennessean.com and there's a story saying that ole Kenny Chesney had lunch w/ Rene Zellweger yesterday at PF Changs in Cool Springs. How weird is that?! Sigh, I sure do miss Nashville. I never see anyone famous in Girard...speaking of country music, Keith Anderson's new cd came out today! I just bought it off of itunes but haven't listened to it yet. BILLY GILMAN has a new cd out also, he he he.

What did I do last night? Oh yes, I ran over to Pittsburg after work and tanned, then had dinner at Jim's w/ Marla and her mom and dad and grandparents. Yum! I ate way too much though. When we got home, Marla and I walked about 3 miles...that was good for us. Then I chattered w/ my boy on the phone for awhile and went to bed. He and I are supposed to do something tonight! I'm excited.

Well, I better get to work...will write again later.

First Post!

Hello everyone! This is my first attempt at an online "blog" I don't know for sure what I will write in here, or who will come here to read my random posts.

Today is Monday, May 2nd...a good day for a fresh new blog start! :) I've spent my day here at work and am praying these last 30 minutes fly by so that I can head to Pittsburg to bake myself in a tanning bed. I may go celebrate my roommate's new job with her family tonight with a dinner at Jim's Steakhouse. I haven't quite decided yet. It sounds YUMMY but I don't need to eat that much and I have laundry and cleaning to do at the house. So, we'll see.

Keith Anderson's new CD comes out tomorrow! Yippie! Marla and I saw him down in Miami at Buffalo Run a few weeks ago. Total Hottie!!!

Well, I better get some more work done. I will write again soon!
