I love the Carter kids! They are growing up so fast and are so busy we really don't have much time these days to get together. Drake had a football game tonight out of town (7th grade, can you believe that?!!!), so the girls decided to come to my house. Janis brought them by office then we went to get Avery and headed home. They were SO GOOD (as always). We had supper, then took a ride in the new van to check out some kittens at my boss's house. (Not for me, for them...but their mom said no).
Anyway, then we came home and had a "hair fixing bow party" As you can see, it was a ton of fun. Avery was such a good sport!
Avery only hit Katie one time. This was good considering how awful she has been lately. She is going through this hitting stage and any advice you can give me on how to break it will be appreciated. I've tried pretty much everything, aside from tying her to a chair and thats my next move. Argh.

Kenley with through that stage and now is out of it, thank god!! We kept telling her no hitting right as soon as she did it and then told her to be nice. We just kept repeating it and repeating it. She would also sit in timeout for awhile. She will come out of it, I promise!
Yeah, she will eventually grow out of it...just keep reminding her that it is not ok. miss you
